The beautiful thing about music is regardless of the genre you play or you are into, there is usually great meaning, reason and passion behind it. Fuelled with urgency and intense passion for their own brand of music, A Vacant Affair was formed.

The emo-rock act composes their songs based on honesty and past experiences. For the individual members, the music they make is an outlet to release their emotions and get away from the doldrums of their various lives. With melodic riffs, soaring vocals, heart-felt screaming, and undeniable drive, they want to be able to connect with those who hear their call and feel their urgency. Integrating their emo, modern rock, hardcore, indie rock and pop punk influences, they attempt to create a signature sound for themselves and bring it to the masses.

A Vacant Affair has big plans and dreams and they hope to accomplish their goals in the busy and demanding lifestyle of Singapore. They are planning to record and release their debut E.P in July 2005.
